Our team of Senior Speech Pathologists, with advanced training in instrumental swallowing assessment and experience supporting adults with dysphagia in the community, are now offering a 2-day community dysphagia course.

With over a decade of experience, we understand the real-world challenges of assessing swallow function in the community.  This course focuses on providing care that truly makes a difference in clients’ lives—cutting through the myths and approaching dysphagia with a holistic, evidence-based lens.

From hospital beds to home visits, Dysphagia assessments weren’t designed for the real world — until now. This isn’t your average dysphagia PD.We’ll take you beyond cranial nerves and thickened fluids; levelling up your oromotor assessments and clinical swallow assessment to get critical information you might have been missing that makes all the difference.

You will have the opportunity to practise what you learn in a safe and simulated environment. You’ll walk away as a more confident clinician, with evidence-based tools, functional outcome measures, and clear guidelines to help you perfect your dysphagia goals and deliver practical mealtime management plans.

After this training you’ll be comfortable taking a holistic, quality of life approach to managing swallowing difficulties.
